We are not just copy writers or technical writers. We are business management consultants as well, and we come from senior management backgrounds.
When Sue was working as a Director in government procurement, she was regularly struck by how poor the submitted bids looked.
Businesses complained to her that they never won any tenders, and she explained to them that was because their tenders failed to hit the mark or impress.
She urged them to get help, but they never did, believing it was their pricing that was the problem.
It wasn’t.
Upon leaving government in 2003, the same companies reached out to Sue for help. Eventually she decided to formalise by creating BidBuddy. The name is meant to reflect the partnering style of support that she offers.
Sue also has a separate business called “Procurement Associates” with her business partner Barb Rebola. Between Sue and Barb, they provide procurement consulting to mainly government and NFPs, keeping them current in procurement and tendering.
We become part of your team during high-stakes bids. From compliance to pricing strategy, from crafting value propositions to avoiding risk—we’re with you every step of the way.
Most consultants can help you write a tender. We help you write a winning one. With an 80% success rate and decades of procurement experience, we focus on what evaluators actually want to see—not just ticking boxes.
We’ve written tenders—and we’ve evaluated them. That means we know the pressure, the priorities, and the pitfalls from both sides. This insight shapes every recommendation we give.
Our team isn’t made up of generalist writers—we’re procurement professionals and business consultants who understand how tenders are scored and how decisions are made. We write with strategy, not just style.
No copy-paste jobs here. We customise every response to align with your business, your value, and the specific criteria of the tender. It’s all about positioning you as the clear choice.
Dip your toe in the water by receiving a tendering tip in your inbox every Saturday.
